Workshop Overview
The Unburdened Self is an experiential training grounded in psychodrama, sociometry, and group psychotherapy, focused on working with internal roles that shape emotional and relational life. Participants explore protective strategies such as the inner critic and other burdened parts, examining how these roles develop in response to relational and developmental experience and how they influence current functioning. The training supports greater internal flexibility, differentiation, and integration.
Learning Objectives
Identify and work with internal roles using psychodramatic and IFS-informed approaches
Explore the function of protective roles such as the inner critic and other burdened parts
Practice intrapsychic and interpersonal psychodrama to support internal differentiation and integration
Apply action-based methods to support clinical and personal work with parts and role systems
